If there’s one thing South Korea does exceptionally well, it’s fried chicken and beer—and Daily Beer brings that winning combination to Singapore. Known for its crispy Korean fried chicken and a wide selection of craft beers, this casual chimaek (치맥) spot offers the perfect place to unwind with friends over great food and drinks.
Daily Beer is a recognised Korean Fried Chicken joint in Seoul and has opened its first international outlet in Telok Ayer and now has a total of 3 outlets in Singapore. Their chicken is double-fried to ensure the chicken has a crispy exterior and yet moist inside.
Daily Beer also specialises in craft beer sourced from local small-batch breweries across South Korea that are exclusive to its restaurants. They also have a variety of appetisers such as spam fries, grilled drilled pollack, nacho chips and french fries.
The Star of the Show – Korean Fried Chicken
Korean fried chicken is all about extra crispy skin, juicy meat, and bold flavors, and Daily Beer delivers exactly that. The chicken is double-fried, giving it that signature crunch without feeling greasy. Here are some must-try flavors:
Angry Bird – The original plain fried chicken, a classic that lets the perfectly fried skin and juicy meat shine.
Angry Bird Black – Original Korean fried chicken paired with their house-made garlic soy sauce for an extra kick.
Angry Bird Kimchi – If you love something spicy, this one’s for you. Coated in spicy kimchi seasoning, this version packs a flavourful punch.
Angry Bird Crunch – For something unique and with more crunch, this is made extra crispy with cornflakes garlic, sweet and spicy seasoning.
We visited Daily Beer Korean Fried Chicken at Telok Ayer on a Sunday evening at around 530pm and the restaurant was like more than half occupied. The place looks vibrant and fun, ideal for after work drinks and dinner.
We settled down and proceeded to order 2 types of fried chicken – Angry Bird and Angry Bird Black. Both are non-spicy versions as we had the kids with us.

The Angry Bird is the fundamental fried chicken. Well seasoned and crunchy crust but a tad drier on the inside than other Korean fried chicken joints.

The soy version of the fried chicken was also well seasoned and crispy. We probably enjoyed this more because the sauce helped to mitigate the slightly drier texture of the chicken.
Pair It With Craft Beer
One of the best things about Daily Beer is its selection of craft beers, carefully curated to complement the fried chicken. Expect a mix of Korean and locally brewed beers, offering everything from light, crisp lagers to hoppy IPAs. Some highlights:
Light & Refreshing Lagers – Perfect for cleansing the palate between bites of fried chicken.
Rich & Malty Ales – If you prefer something bold, try pairing these with Angry Bird Kimchi Fried Chicken.
Whether you’re craving a late-night snack, a casual dinner, or a place to catch up with friends over drinks, this spot delivers on all fronts. The combination of crispy, flavourful chicken and refreshing craft beers makes for a winning chimaek experience that’s hard to beat.
