Niku Niku Oh Kome at WEAVE @ Resorts World Sentosa is its first store in Singapore and opened in August 2025 in partnership with local F&B brand, Putien. The second outlet is located at Westgate @ Jurong East. This Japanese hamburg steak restaurant offers a slightly different dining experience, where freshly prepared beef patties are grilled right before your eyes and served on a sizzling hot plate. Niku Niku Oh Kome uses a blend of Japonica and Japanese rice and there is some wagyu beef incorporated in their Japanese-styled aged beef patties.

Freshly Grilled Hamburg Steaks, Cooked to Your Preference
One of the highlights of dining at Niku Niku Oh!! Kome is watching the hamburg steaks being prepared on the grill.
Unlike the usual hamburger patties served between buns, these Japanese-style hamburg steaks are enjoyed on their own, accompanied by rice, soup and your choice of condiments.
There is also the individual hot plate in front of you, which allows you to continue cooking your hamburg steak if you prefer your meat more well done.
This is especially useful for diners who aren’t comfortable with beef that is still slightly pink in the centre. Simply leave the patty on the hot plate a little longer or break it down to cook until it reaches your preferred doneness.
It’s a small but thoughtful feature that makes the dining experience more enjoyable, especially when everyone has different preferences.

Original vs Cheese Hamburg: Which Is Better?
We ordered both the Original Hamburg and Cheese Hamburg to try the different flavours.
The Original Hamburg is a straightforward choice that allows you to appreciate the natural beef flavour without too many distractions. It also provides a great base for experimenting with the different sauces available. Each steak is served at each time alongside a serving of broccoli.
The Cheese Hamburg, on the other hand, adds an extra layer of richness for those who enjoy the combination of beef and cheese. They add a small slice of Cheddar cheese on top and grate Grana Padano cheese generously over it.
The kids loved their hamburg steaks with cheese.

The Onsen Egg Was My Favourite Combination
Niku Niku Oh!! Kome provides a selection of condiments and sauces available to customise your hamburg steak.
However, after trying the different accompaniments, our personal favourite was simply enjoying the hamburg with the onsen egg.
The soft, creamy egg pairs beautifully with the beef, adding richness without overwhelming its natural flavour.
Sometimes, keeping things simple really is the best way to enjoy a dish.

If you’re visiting for the first time, I’d definitely recommend trying the hamburg with the pasteurised onsen or raw egg before experimenting with the other sauces.

Free Rice and Soup Refills Make It Even Better
Another great thing about Niku Niku Oh!! Kome is that the meal comes with complimentary rice and soup refills.
For anyone with a hearty appetite, this is definitely a welcome bonus.
The hamburg steaks go particularly well with a bowl of warm rice, and being able to request another serving means you can enjoy the meal without worrying about running out of rice halfway through.
The miso soup is also a nice accompaniment and is filled with shitake, enoki mushrooms and a fishball, making the entire meal feel more complete.
A Great Dining Option for Families With Kids
I also think Niku Niku Oh!! Kome is a good option for families dining with children.
Hamburg steaks are generally an approachable choice for younger diners, particularly those who enjoy beef patties.
The ability to cook the meat a little longer is another plus, as parents can ensure that the beef patty is thoroughly cooked before serving it to their children.
The combination of beef, rice and soup also makes for a simple and filling meal without requiring children to try unfamiliar flavours.
Of course, parents should supervise younger children around the hot plates, as they remain very hot throughout the meal.
Final Verdict: Is Niku Niku Oh!! Kome Worth Trying?
What makes the restaurant stand out isn’t just the hamburg steaks themselves, but the entire dining experience. Watching the patties being grilled, having the flexibility to cook them to your preferred doneness, and experimenting with the different condiments all add a little fun to an otherwise simple meal. Starting from $16.80, it feels like a value meal but do take note that the restaurant is not particularly well ventilated so you can expect to smell a little greasy and smoky after the meal.
